Orain, Daniel Menche, Jazkammer, Tetuzi Akiyama edo James Plotkin bezalakoekin batera disketxe honen katalogoa osatuko du irrikiz itxaroten dugun lan berri honek.
El sello norteamericano (de Milwaukee para ser más concretos) UTECH RECORDS, publica el primer trabajo largo del músico lapurtano Johannes Buff aka Knell. El trabajo de Buff, que hemos podido escuchar hace poco en la improvisación colectiva “Hotsate” junto a xedh, tüsüri, edorta izarzugaza y bazterrak y que pronto escucharemos en una nueva aportación para la serie RE:MAPA, es un ejercicio ambient basado en el uso de la guitarra y grabaciones de campo que sugiere tranquilidad e inquietud por igual. Ahora, este trabajo que esperamos escuchar pronto, formará catálogo junto a obras de artistas como Daniel Menche, Jazkammer, James Plotkin o Tetuzi Akiyama.

Using a single sound source and unprocessed field recordings Knell invoke rich beauty and obsessive melodics. A luminous patina reveals vague, underlying threat. Drone as a catalyst of frequencies and time. Nothing to understand through listening. Only to gaze.

hope you’re welll! I’m having a concert with Edorta Izarzugaza in Hasparren (baten bila) on august 31rst. that’s for the listen part. Otherwise I’ll be around for the summer, I’ll try to get to some audiolab events!
